At Saatchi & Saatchi's Bangkok office, the interior design was given a whimsical makeover to crank up the social vibes and supercharge staff creativity. Everyday objects were reimagined, turning the workspace into a playground of innovation and excitement.
The office is split into two main zones: the creative zone and the managing zone. The creative zone is a bright, open wonderland where communication flows freely, ideas bounce around like beach balls, and the team feels like one big family. On the flip side, the managing zone has a moodier ambiance with splashes of color, reminding everyone that even the serious folks need a bit of fun. Bridging these zones are quirky features like a trophy wall and a bicycle wall, along with a facility zone decked out in vibrant pink walls, injecting energy into everyday tasks.
Every detail of the office was designed to be both practical and playful. By giving a twist to everyday objects, the familiar becomes fantastically fun. Imagine a bicycle meeting table that can split into two—perfect for spontaneous huddles or intimate brainstorming sessions. The front lobby sports a counter table on wheels that looks like a bus, ready to roll into action as a mobile café/bar, transforming the reception area into a buzzing social hub.
Staying true to the theme of twisting identities, we crafted meeting pods that mimic train seats and oversized armchairs, offering cozy, private nooks. Instead of a boring old message board, we unleashed an office monster message board that stretches across an entire wall in the creative zone. This beast is interactive, with holes, pins, lights, and shelves, inviting staff to engage and play with its many features.
Another gem is the bar that morphs into a daybed, doubling up as a mini kitchen/bar with storage for a fridge and glasses or as a chill-out spot with space for books. This multifunctional marvel ensures that each piece maximizes space while keeping the atmosphere lively and inspiring.
In the end, the design at Saatchi & Saatchi's Bangkok office turns the ordinary into the extraordinary. Every corner is packed with surprises, creating an innovative and functional environment that fuels creativity and collaboration. The result? A workplace that's as inspiring as it is fun, where the familiar gets a delightful twist, and every day feels like an adventure.
