Designing this project posed an intriguing challenge: transforming a quirky, two-story Y2K-era building into a pet hospital. Located in the bustling outskirts of Bangkok, surrounded by the typical urban chaos, the site demanded a creative approach.

With tight time and budget constraints, along with the hospital's corporate identity to consider, we had to get resourceful. We aimed to craft an appealing new facade using the building's existing structure. The focal point of the design is the curved area. Here, we swapped out the house-like window frames for a frameless glass. We then constructed a new curved wall featuring playful circular openings and shadow play animal graphics, adding a touch of whimsy. The main entrance, clad in wooden battens, extends to the second floor and wraps around to the back, covering the old windows for a cleaner look.

Inside, our goal was to create a welcoming space for both humans and animals. We incorporated natural light to enhance the white and wooden surfaces, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Splashes of blue, the brand's CI color, are strategically placed to reinforce the hospital's identity. The second floor has been converted into an office, accessed by a central staircase. Meanwhile, the original front staircase has been transformed into a cozy waiting area for pets and their owners.

In this project, adaptability was key. By repurposing the old structure and integrating fresh design elements, we turned a dated building into a vibrant, functional pet hospital.
